Products for Clinic Aid

Clinic-Aid is the software database that has been developed for the Endometriosis and Fertility Clinic. Development has taken many years and is full of practical ways of helping a busy clinic.

My wife has been a nutritional therapist for many years and I trained and work in Computing Science. As her practice grew she was spending more time writting out orders for clients to be sent off to her suppliers and trying to reconcile the bank paying in slips. It was also hard keeping track of who had paid and who still owed money. We have had computers in the home for many years and to me it seemed that we needed some simple system to help keep track of this.

We started by buying a database and I set up a simple set of records and relationships. Over time the needs changed and more and more effort went into the system. My wife has always been interested in doing research and she discovered Dr Charlotte Patterson's MYMOP (Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile) which allows patients to select a couple of symptoms and an activity to monitor over the course of the treatment. By using the computer it has us to constantly monitor patients and how they improve, it has also allowed us to produce research showing how nutritional treatment can reduce symptoms and improve a patients long term quality of life.

Last year I bought a new version of the database which allowed me to produce a stand alone version of the software as in the past you would have needed to buy a copy of the database package before you could use the software. However, because it was a newer version of the database software I have been forced to rewrite the package to take advantages of the updated software. This task has taken a long time but now I have a Beta version of the software ready to be tested. I am offering reductions in the price for people who are willing to test the software and report bugs in either the software or the documentation. Enhancements can be suggested at this stage for inclusion in the first version of the software.

Why not take a look at this software and download a copy to try out. You do need a license code to active the package even in a trial environment.
